Girl Fight is a 2011 Lifetime movie starring Jodelle Ferland and Anne Heche. It focuses on Haley, a troubled 16-year old who tries to fit in with a group of popular girls, but when tensions in the group explode she is attacked and brutally beaten, ending up in the hospital. The girls then upload the video of the beating in order to get famous, but are arrested, but a traumatized Haley is uncertain if she wants to press charges against them.

The film is based on a real-life incident in 2008 in which a girl was videotaped being beaten by her former friends and the clip was then leaked online, drawing national attention.
